Marion Facade Program
The Historic Marion Façade Grant Program helps preserve and enhance the character of Downtown Marion by supporting exterior improvements to commercial buildings. Designed to encourage thoughtful restoration and investment, the program strengthens the beauty, vitality, and long-term success of our historic downtown while helping property and business owners create welcoming spaces for residents and visitors alike.
The program is made possible through a partnership between the City of Marion, the Marion Business Association, and the McDowell Economic Development Association, with support from McDowell County and North Carolina Main Street. Additional information and application details will be available on January 31, 2027, when the next grant cycle opens.
